The DT 2.0 measures temperature with a laser trimmed 2000 ohm RTD contained in a stainless steel probe. The signal from the RTD is conditioned, then processed by an analog to digital converter and is indicated on an LED display. The numerals are 1⁄2- high, making the digital display easy to read at a distance.
The DT 2.0 measures temperatures between –40°F to 199°F, 0°F to 250°F, and –40°C to 120°C with resolution of 1°, and delivers accuracy of ±2°F. The display portion of the thermometer is housed in an ABS and acrylic case which can be washed down in service.
The solid state electronic design makes the thermometer very resistant to shock and vibration that would normally have an adverse effect on mechanical vapor actuated thermometers.
The unit is powered by 6 volts dc, which is delivered through a power supply that operates on 110 Vac (220 Vac and 24 Vac are optional). When more than one indicator is required, two thermometers can be operated by one 110 Vac supply. The power supply is U.L. and CSA recognized and the complete unit is food safe but not for direct food contact or immersion in food products.
The thermometer can be panel mounted and using optional mounting flanges, will fit standard 2- and 21⁄2- diameter panel openings. Zero and span adjustments are accessible through the rear of the case.
